The latest partnership involves Hyatt Place in Bharuch, where Statiq has inaugurated a dual gun 60 kW DC charger, catering to the diverse needs of EV users. Commenting on the launch, Akshit Bansal, founder & CEO, Statiq, expressed, “The growing acceptance of electric vehicles is undeniable. EV charging stations in hotels are not just a futuristic idea but a pragmatic investment. By offering these stations, hotels can tap into a growing market of environmentally conscious EV owners actively seeking accommodations in line with their sustainable lifestyle. This not only reduces carbon footprint but also contributes to the ongoing shift towards a more environmentally friendly and cleaner future for everyone. Statiq has already rolled out 7,000 charging stations across India in tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 cities and aims to establish 20,000 EV charging stations by 2025.”
Manoj Janardhan, GM, Hyatt Place, Bharuch, stated, “Indian hotels are proactively adopting eco-friendly measures to combat climate change, incorporating solutions such as energy-efficient technologies. Cities nationwide are increasingly supporting electric vehicles to address the growing pollution concerns. This transition signifies a more conscientious and environmentally aware approach in society. We are pleased to collaborate with Statiq for installing EV chargers at Hyatt Place. Providing guests with access to EV charging stations strengthens our reputation as an eco-friendly establishment. As the world leans towards a cleaner approach, hotels embracing sustainable practices will lead in attracting and satisfying the growing community of environmentally conscious individuals.”
