Hyderabad: TS BJP president and Union culture minister G. Kishan Reddy said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had sanctioned a railway station for Komuravelli as a gift to the devotees of Lord Mallanna. Kishan Reddy had written to the Centre seeking the railway station.
The five galleries, new as well as reorganised, include one on Indian sculpture with close to 40 objects, some dating back to 2nd century BCE, such as the fragment from Bharhut with a lotus medallion and ‘Anantsayana Vishnu’ from the Kakatiya period. The Bidriware gallery contains about 300 unique objects. The lamp and chandelier gallery exhibits 180 antique objects from across the world in different media. The European bronze gallery has over 100 statues and the European marble gallery has 50 sculptures. The subjects in the sculpture galleries range from daily life, history and mythology.
The minister will open an advanced skill training institute for women on Shivam Road in Nallakunta. The institute will run under the aegis of the skill development ministry. The centre will train women on instructor training, fashion techonology, cosmetology, architectural draughtsman, information technology, internet of things along with professional beauty therapy, cutting and tailoring, stiching among others.
In a release Bharatiya Janata Party state executive committee member Gudur Narayana Reddy said he has received invitation from Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to participate in the Ramlala Pran Pratishtha program at Ayodhya.
