Angelina Jolie has taken some very special guests to the New York Film Festival.
Fans were sent into a frenzy when the actress stepped onto the red carpet with her three children, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, and Maddox, 23.
The four were attending the festival’s premiere of her newest film, Maria, a biopic of the late opera singer Maria Callas.

Jolie wore a stunning vintage Madame Grès gown and red heels, while Zahara wore a silver silk dress. Both Pax and Maddox opted for suits.
The actress opened up to Extra about what having her family there means to her: “You know, before you get out in these things, you’re as nervous.

“They [Jolie’s children] just said, ‘No matter what, Mum, good luck and we know how hard you work and we love you.’
“You know, you just have that moment where the people who are with you tell you, succeed or fail, they care about you.”
Notably, the star’s three other children, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne, 16 and Knox, 16, who Jolie shares with Brad Pitt, weren’t in attendance.
Just weeks ago, it was reported Shiloh had officially dropped her father’s famous last name.
According to People, the 18-year-old was “granted” her legal request to go by Shiloh Jolie.
In a statement published by the publication, Peter Levine said Shiloh is a “young adult” who made a “significant decision”.
“Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate,” Levine explained.
“As Shiloh’s attorney, I am required to publish a legal notice because the law in California requires that of anyone who wants to change their name.

“That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as is required,” part of the statement read.
People previously reported her sibling Vivienne dropped her father’s famous surname on the playbill of a Broadway show she worked on recently with her mother.
Zahara previously made headlines for dropping “Pitt” from her name during her sorority induction.
